Plugin Monday: Ninja Forms

Plugin Monday: Ninja Forms

One of the great advantages of using WordPress is the multitude of free plugins that are available. Instead of having to manually code a website yourself, you are able to install a plugin and have the work done for you. One such plugin is Ninja Forms, which allows you to easily and seamlessly create submission forms on your website.

The ease of using Ninja Forms stems from its drag and drop features. When creating a form, you will have a list of submission fields to choose from. There are three free form types to choose from: Contact forms, request a quote forms, and event registration forms.

When creating a contact form, you can choose from fields requiring the user to submit their first and/or last name, email address, street address, date, city and/or state, single line text, paragraph text, and much more. Just drag and drop these fields into the order you want. You can preview your form at any time. Once the form is created, you will be given a shortcode that you can paste into the HTML area anywhere on your website. You can view form submissions by choosing Submissions from the Ninja Form sidebar menu.

There are also many premium add-ons to choose from. You can connect email services such as Mailchimp and Aweber to create email subscription forms. You can connect Paypal Express to create forms where people can pay via Paypal. You can have an SMS sent to you whenever a form is filled out. There are many more add-ons that are extremely useful.
